back in llama effect!

the dupage county fair is going on right now, and it takes place a mere block and a half from my house. I sort of felt like calling in sick today, skipping work in order to have some fair experience; smell the pigs and goats, get back to my country girl roots. also according to the website one of the attractions this year is "milk a real cow." sign me up!
speaking of livestock. I sometimes daydream about having a llama farm one day. it's part of a rich tapestry of daydreams that involve an acreage in Iowa: having a little art gallery in a barn (or wine shop/art gallery) running a bed and breakfast, that kind of thing. maybe I'll just combine it all and have a b&b where you pet llamas while drinking wine and looking at art. sweet.
(and with this, yeah, I'm really going to start updating again. I have a lot to catch up on, but I'll space it out so as not to have one gigantic entry, then not write again for another month. i miss you diaryland! my habits just need to improve.)
